[F#]When Jack [Bm]woke up next morning, he gawped. [G]Outside, [D]they had sprouted a giant bean[Bm]stalk. It [A]was huge and green [G]and [D]twirled up high. It whirled and swirled [Bm]right into the sky. [A]Gadzooks! sai[D]d Jack and started to climb. Climbing up the beanstalk [G]took some time. [D]Fluffy [Bm]white clouds stuck to [A]his hair. Then, [D]he [Bm]saw a [A]castle floating in the [G]air! The [D]big door of the [A]castle was [D]open wide, so Jack decided to sneak in[G]side. Fee [A]-fi -fo -fum! [D]I smell the b[A]lood of an Englishman! [F#m]I'll e[D]at you as soon as I c[A]an! [D]Near the table, Jack saw an open cage. [G]In it, sparkled som[D]ething special and strange. A golden goose with golden [G]feathers! Sitting on [A]a gold egg, what [Bm]a tre[D]asure! [G]Quickly, Jack [D]slammed the front door. The giant saw him and charged with a [G]Roar! [D]Jack opened [Bm]it again and the giant ran [D]out Jack grabbed the [Bm]goose Got you! He [D]did shout Roar! The giant turned and charged again [G]Jack slipped through the [Bm]giant's hairy legs then He [G]ran fast as lightning, holding [Bm]Goosey tight He dashed [D]and sprinted [G]with all his might. [Bm]Down the twirl[G]y -whirly beanstalk Jack [Bm]went, sliding down [G]it s stem in [F#m]quick descent. [Bm]Watch out! [G]The goose did honk and squawk. The gi[Bm]ant was chasing them down the [G]stalk. [Bm]Jack scrambled down all [G]the way to the ground. He put down [F#m]Goose an[Bm]d looked [D]around. [Bm]A shiny axe! At [G]the bean[Em]stalk, Jack whacked. [A]He cut[Bm] the green stem until it cracked. From high above came an angry [D]HOWL! The [Bm]giant was trapped among the [G]clouds. He held [A]onto the stalk as it blew [Bm]away. Nobody saw him after that [Bm]day. [D]Jack's mummy ran out and [G]hugged him tight. [A]He sai[Bm]d, I met a [D]giant and won a fight! [F#m]After [D]that, they [G]al ways had enough money. [D]And for breakfast, [A]golden [D]eggs with honey!
